"Up Sado River" - Estuary of Sado
River
Plan a
different day with Nature. The possibility to overview the Sado
Dolphins and be sure you will be in one of the most beautiful and
untouched spots in Europe. The Sado Natural Reserve and his Bay, are
qualified in the most Beautiful World Bays Club. You will also can be
sailor, for one day, getting sails up, steering the boat, mast
climbing (to watch the marvellous scenarios, untouched for the last
two centuries), to assist changing tacks
manoeuvres.
UP SADO RIVER TO ALCÁCER DO SAL and meet the residents migratory birds
which reproduce here (garças, cegonhas, rose flamingos, ...). A
different day in an very special scenario.

The
cruises includes explanations of all conspicuous places we will meet, a
Troiacruze Buffet inboard including wine, juice coffee and regional cakes.
Ashore, a party in a typical Alcácer do Sal House. The boat is a
traditional salt carrier built in 1943, approved for this activity and
with all legal safety tests and insurance coverage.
Meeting
Point: 10:15h, in Setúbal at Ferry-Boat to Tróia harbour. (Please see
attached map at the end of this page).
